I simply like to love life and living hard. Shredding on a longboard is just another way for me to appreciate what is around me. Just like how putting on sunglasses changes how one sees the world, putting a longboard under my feet gives me a chance to see the roads as my race track and slide laboratory. Being born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana makes me a licensed Ragin’ Cajun. I have lived most of my life in Austin, Texas (whooo!!!), home of the downtown trails and garages to the massive hills around the lake and Mount Bonnel. I have been longboarding since 2010 and will never quit. I am addicted to going fast and throwing slides at speeds most others wouldn’t think about. I skateboarded a little in high school but it was missing something: lots of speed and drifting.
Playing music is my first love and longboarding is my mistress. Whether I am playing drums, bass guitar, upright bass, or bombing down hills you can count on it that I am “all in”.
The fastest I have gone is 50 mph and I am chasing that 60+ mph white whale with all the sweat and guts I posses. I have no favorite trick but I love to slide and slide big. Every road, sidewalk, driveway, or random lip screams to me what the gnarlyest trick I can do on or off of it is. The road is my canvas and my board is the brush.
